“Look what I found!” Dr. Moore wrote to his Facebook friends today. “Senator Sam Ervin gave me this autographed photo after I interviewed him as co-host of the Good Morning Carolina Show on WSOC-TV. Host Brad Lacy invited me to co-host for the week.”
Ervin was the plain-talking chairman of the Senate Watergate Committee. Moore’s interview with Sen. Ervin occurred six years after his retirement from the U.S. Senate and five years before his death.
